MEETINGS

Our first meeting this month will be held on Thursday, July 5^th at our Lions’ Hall at 7:00 p.m..  There will be no meal. 

Board of Directors meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 11^th at our Lions’ Hall at 6:30 p.m.

Our second meeting will take place on Thursday, July 19^th at our Lions’ Hall at 7:00 p.m.  No one has volunteered to cook for this meeting.  If you are interested, please let Lion LaNette know at the next meeting.

GOLF TOURNAMENT

The 6^th Annual Howard Lake Lions 4-man Scramble Golf Tournament will take place at ShadowBrooke Golf course on Saturday, July 14^th.  Tee time is 7:30 a.m.  This year there will be a pork chop dinner following the tournament.  The proceeds from this year’s tournament will go towards Campaign Sight First II.  The chairperson is Lion Debbie McAlpine.  Please support this tournament.

Dues are due!!!

LEMONADE SOCIAL

We have volunteered to serve lemonade at Camp Friendship on Thursday, July 12^th.  Meet at Lions’ Hall at

6:00 p.m. to car pool.  The lemonade social starts at 7:00 p.m.

Lion Steve Weber has decided to step down as newsletter editor.  Lions LaNette and Terry are filling in.  We know it is not near as nice as Lion Steve does it.  But we will try to improve with time.  If anyone has any suggestions you may send an e-mail to the above Lions’ e-mail address.  We check it daily.
