Gram Editor) with the labeling, sorting, and bundling of the September
issue of the 5M-7 Gram on November 4th: Darrell Main, Joyce Thorson, Denny
Massey, Harvey Krohn, LaNette Thorson and Terry Thorson. It was very
much appreciated.

Thank you to all the Lions who helped out at the Halloween party on October 31st. We had approximately seventy-five children in attendance. A good time was had by all. The winners of the costume contest appear later in this newsletter.
Also, thanks are in order to Lions Melmer Lahr and Harvey Krohn for cleaning our meeting place after the new windows were installed. A job well done!
MEETINGS
Our annual Governor’s Night/Christmas will take place on Thursday,
December 5th at our meeting place. (This will take the place of our regular
business meeting.) The meal will be potluck that night. There
will also be a gift exchange that night. Please keep the cost of
the gift at no greater than $10. If you bring a gift, please label
as for a “Man” or “Woman.” Spouses or “significant others” are also
invited to attend. The fun begins at 6:30 P.M. Hope to see
you all there.
The second meeting will be on Thursday, December 19th also at our meeting place. A Board of Directors meeting will take place at 6:30 P.M. No Lion member has volunteered to do the meal for this meeting. If there is no meal, the meeting will be at 7:00 P.M. (7:30 if there is a meal). If you are interested, please let Lion Steve know by Dec. 5th.
Our club will be hosting the next zone meeting on Monday, December 2nd
at our regular meeting place. Social hour is at 6:30 P.M. with the
meal at 7:00 P.M. Let’s have a large turnout for this meeting.
As of now, there will be approximately fifty members from our zone (including
the District Governor) in attendance).
WORK WEEKEND PLANNED
With all the activities going on during the first week of December,
a “work weekend” at our meeting place has been scheduled for Saturday,
November 30th and Sunday, December 1st. The purpose is to clean and
put up the Christmas decorations for our zone meeting and Governor’s Night.
We will start working at 10:00 A.M. on Sat. and 1:00 P.M. on Sunday.
If you can help out at either or both days, it will be very much appreciated.
Thanks to Lion Cathy Rufer for organizing it.
