THANK YOU
Thanks to Lion Layle Dawa for the superb meal at our Sept. 7th  meeting. Also, thanks to Lion Julie Gangl for cooking a wonderful meal at our September 1st at meeting.

MEETINGS
Our first meeting of the month will be on Thursday, October 5th .  This meeting will take place at our new Lions hall (the old Methodist church). There will also be a meal that night.  Lions  LaNette Thorson, Joyce Thorson, and Julie Gangl will be cooking the meal.  The meal will be at 7:00 P.M. with the meeting at 7:30 P.M.
 
Our second meeting will be take place on Thursday, October 19th  at our new meeting place.  There will be a Board of Directors meeting at 6:30 P.M.  No member has volunteered to cook for this meeting.  If interested, please notify Lion Steve by the first meeting.  If there is no meal, the meeting will be at 7:00 P.M. (7:30 if there is a meal; please check the Oct. 16th Herald)

ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Bruce Hoffman concert has been tentatively scheduled for Sunday, February 18th.

Lions Cathy Rufer and Susan Grangroth will once again be co-chairing Sight Night on Saturday, October 28th in conjunction with our Halloween party.

A committee has been formed to oversee the work on the new Lions Hall.  They are Lions Mike Main, Darrell Main, and Gary Hagemann.

At the Sept. 7th meeting, Lion Layle Dawa presented the Crow Award to Lion President Tom Fiecke for overstating his boundaries and buying ice cream cups instead of having them donated during National Night Out.
