SW Bus Company from Willmar will be our mode of transportation. The cost of
the trip will be approximately $15 per person (this is subject to change
depending on the number of people going.)  The money for the trip should be
turned in by the end of March.

The bus company does not allow kegs of beer on its buses.  However, a small
amount of coolers with beer will be allowed.

The itinerary of the trip is as follows:
We will leave from Howard Lake from Block 18 (or behind the drug store) at
12:45 P.M.  We will arrive at the Park Tavern at approximately 1:45 P.M.  We

EASTER EGG HUNT
Our annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place at Memorial Park on Saturday,
March 30th at 10:00 A.M.  Lion Duane Hass will be the chairman for this
event this year.  Let's give Duane all our support by helping out any way
that day.

DONATIONS
Donations were made to the following: (1) HLWW Schools for a reading
program; (2) HLWW Elementary for hosting author Jack Pearson; and (3) Leader
Dog for the Blind. (Note: The Leader Dog for the Blind is hosting a program
to buy a brick for $100.00.  They are building a student residence.  Our
club decided to buy one brick for each deceased member.  Our club has six.
They are: Ray Webb, John Langer, Dale Thorson, Gaylin Scheer, Al LePage, and
Jack Oberpriller.

WANTED: MORE LIONS PROJECTS
At our last meeting in January, a very disturbing fact was brought to our
attention.  Our club has been involved in very few projects recently
involving the community.  It's a trend that needs to be stopped.  We have
become too complacent.  If you have any ideas for a project, please bring
them along to one our upcoming meetings. LET'S GET INVOLVED!

SLATE OF OFFICERS
A slate of officers for 2002-03 needs to be put together.  Lions Duane Hass
and Tom Fiecke have volunteered this year to be on the Nominating Committee.
If you are interested in holding an office in our club, please contact Lions
Duane or Tom ASAP.  We will be voting on the slate of officers at one of our
April meetings.

CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to Lions Dan and Erin Judd on the birth of twin boys born on
Friday, February 8th.

Also, congratulations are in order to Lion Steve Weber who will be the next
editor of our district newsletter (5M-7 Gram) in July.
