Thanks to Lion Chris Bickmann for the excellent meal at our November 4^th meeting (also thanks to Lion Steve Weber’s mother for the dessert).

Thanks also to the HLWW FFA for the meal at our November 18^th meeting.

Donations were made to the HLWW Travelling Boys basketball teams and to the Wright County Food Shelf in Waverly.

Reservations have been made for the Mid-Winter Convention in January. If you still want to attend the convention, please let

Lion Darrell know ASAP and he will give you a form to fill out and mail.

If you are interested in purchasing a complete meal book or individual meal tickets for the convention, you must do so by the end

of December(if you purchase after December, the price will be higher). You can bring your meal order(along with your check) to

our December 16^th meeting or mail it to the address listed on the bottom of the form.

Our annual Christmas Party/Governor’s Night will be on Thursday, December 2^nd at our regular meeting place. This will be a

potluck meal. Also, if you wish to bring a gift to exchange that night, you may do so. Spouses and friends of our members also

invited to come. Members of our Lioness club are also invited that night. The festivities will get under way with the social hour at 6:30 P.M.

Our only meeting this month will be on Thursday, Dec.16^th at our regular meeting place. So far, no member has come forward to

volunteer to cook that night. If you are interested, please let Lion Steve Weber know ASAP. There will be a Board of Directors

meeting at 6:30 that night. If there is no meal, the business meeting will be at 7:00 P.M.

and Dean Stenberg(8).
